Hi Sarah,
I wanted to say thank you so much for allowing me to observe and hang
out with the bunnies, the folks at the assisted living facility, and
yourself. It was a pleasure to "see" the interactions between the
bunnies and the individuals. Through out the term we went through the
Delta Therapeutic Interventions, read articles, and watched a few
videos. Being able to see the interactions helped me bring everything
together that I learned in class, and then some.
I can see that you and your bunnies are truly touching peoples lives.
My mom works at Providence Hospital in Alaska, and the therapist there
knows all about your program, I thought that was pretty neat!
Christmas is nearing and I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday.

All of our clients were given Philo's photo to take home. One of our ladies can't have pets because of breathing problems, but at home she pats his picture and talks of that lovely fur. We recently celebrated her birthday and asked if we could invite Philo as a surprise guest. To see the pure joy on the face of the "Birthday Girl" when Philo came in was priceless and brought many other guests to tears. Sometimes we are all in such a hurry we overlook the fact that a fragile little fluff of fur has the power to initiate such love and happiness! Virginia
It was great getting a chance to catch up with you when you were here with the bunnies. I enjoyed hearing about how far you've come with your nonprofit and how much great work the rabbits are doing. Thanks so much for coming to greet all the kids and their families. I could tell that nervous expressions softened the minute the bunnies were spotted! All the built up anxiety just melted away. It was great hearing Patches' story of survival. What a wonderful story! Thanks again for being here! Jennifer S.

It was such a pleasure to have the bunnies visit. I had several residents that are not as involved in activities come down and hold them. One resident even came back the next day to tell me how much the rabbit liked him. It blessed me so much to see the enjoyment they were having with these 2 bunnies. They can't wait to see them again! All of the residents LOVED being with the bunnies. The VRT (Visiting Rabbit Team) was so wonderful with the residents and gave each resident a nice long turn holding the bunnies. They didn't feel rushed or hurried. It was a wonderful experience that we hope to do on a regular basis. (from survey)
